Tune into this Monday Morning After (December 2nd, 7-9am), for an interview with Professor Mathieu Boisvert of UQAM who will speak to us about his work with the Hijra community in India. In the culture of South Asia, the Hijra is the term used for transgendered people.

Next up, we are joined in studio by local musical duo, Po Lazarus made up of Paul Mascarenhas and Joshua Carey who will perform for us some of their original songs. At 8AM, regular contributor Zoreen will bring us her health segment. This is followed by a phone interview with Paul Johannessen, director and producer of “Women of Fukushima”, a documentary highlighting the view of six Japanese women who offer their honest views on the truths and untruths regarding the nuclear accident in Fukushima and how it has affected their lives, homes and families. Last up, we hear from McGill student Salima Visram who pitched the idea for the upcoming McGill Pays It Forward event happening on December 3rd.
