From October 8th to October 11th, the National Energy Board will be meeting with regards to the reversal and expansion of Line 9b of the Enbridge pipeline, running from Sarnia, Ontario to the refineries in East Montreal.

For this very reason, we here at Under The Weather have decided to organize a panel discussion about Enbridge Line 9b for the October edition of our lecture series.

Join us on Thursday, October 10th at 6:30 PM for a panel in Leacock room 232 on McGill University’s downtown campus to learn about the current and potential risks and implications of reversing this pipeline to transport crude oil from the Athabasca Tar Sands to the refineries here in Montreal.

If you can’t make it in person, TUNE IN LIVE on CKUT 90.3 FM or online at http://ckut.ca/ from 7 to 8 PM on Thursday night during Grey Matters to hear live coverage of the panel.
