The McGill Daily’s “Excuse the News”, a weekly roundup of Mcgill news on CKUT’s airwaves, featuring an interview with Suzanne Fortier, McGill’s new principal and vice-chancellor.

A live interview with Deepan Budlakoti, an Ottawa-born man who the Canadian government is trying to deport to India, a country where he has no family, has never lived and is not a citizen.

Also, a live interview with Amy Miller, a member of the support committee for Dr. Tarek Loubani and John Greyson, two Canadians who have been jailed in Egypt and who have recently begun a hunger strike to protest the arbitrary nature of their detention.

Plus Maya Rolbin-Ghanie from Missing Justice is coming in to talk with us about the 8th Annual Memorial March for Missing & Murdered Native Women on October 4th.
