They also examined the effects of austerity on this working environment.
Then, we’ll hear Ahmad Abuznaid. He is a Palestinian that grew up in the United States. He explains how he understood the oppression on his people in Palestine and confronted himself to the condition of an Israeli apartheid. He also explains how, by his engagement in the civil right movements with his collective “The Dream Defenders”, he managed to link the Ferguson protest to the fight for freedom and peace in Palestine.
Finally, we will listen to the latest edition of Palestine Today, a service of the International Middle East Media Center. The report is brought to you by George Rishmawi and Ghassan Bannoura.
