Off the Hour / Sept 19. 5-6pm / Climate justice march

Tune in to Off the Hour at 5 pm on CKUT!

Featured on today’s program: -First up, we narrow in on the largest climate justice march in history, set to take place after tomorrow in New York City. The march is set to coincide with world leaders descending on the UN for the 2014 Climate Summit, and to demand that they take action to protect the Earth. We’ll be joined by an organizer of the march and by a leading member of Climate Justice Montreal. But we’ll also be joined by a local indigenous organizer who is criticizing the march.

-We’ll hear a report from last week’s Popular Commission on Political Repression.

-Then we’ll go to Tunisia, where licenses were recently granted to 8 new community radio stations across the country.
