The Avalanche celebrates 10 years of Disability Rights on CKUT! Donate Today
Tune in to The Avalanche’s funding drive special today from 5-6pm, and celebrate 10 years of Disability Rights on the airwaves at CKUT!
The Avalanche is CKUT’s monthly show by and for people with disabilities. The team got its start at the station back in 2005, and this year we’re celebrating 10 years of incredible programming, including hundreds of interviews, coverage of the Paralympics, and bringing radio to the Deaf community through ASL video interpretation.
Join us for our funding drive special program today and DONATE to support this amazing programming! You can donate online at www.ckut.ca/donate, or by calling our pledge line at 514-907-9424.
Special guests on today’s program include:
Diane Dupuys, founder of Famous People Payers
Caroline Bisson (Sochi 2015 Paralympic athlete, cross country skiing)
Aimee Louw of Accessibilize Montreal
