Ryan Young has been a co-host of Ecolibrium since 2005 and has brought
many important guests and stories to the program including author Farley
Mowat and Dr. David Suzuki.  The environment has always been a central
focus in Ryan's life and he has participated actively in the environmental
and animal rights movements since his early twenties.  He has a Master's
degree in Environmental Studies from York University and he currently
serves on the board of directors of the Green Coalition.  Ryan also
teaches radio production and other media-related courses at John Abbott
College in Ste. Anne de Bellevue.

Vanessa Salvatore

Vanessa Salvatore is an environmental activist who believes in educating and empowering the public. She has been a co-host of Ecolibrium since 2005. Vanessa occasionally volunteered for the Rooftop Garden Project and Montreal's Urban Community Sustainment Project (MUCS) when living in Montreal.  She is currently living in Brussels, Belgium and bringing news and interviews from Europe. Vanessa is also part of the Transatlantic Sustainable Business Network coordinated by a socially responsible company, Civimundo (www.civimundo.com).

Sophia Male joined CKUT in 2005 as Ecolibrium’s “Green News” reporter.  Gathering and reporting the week’s environmental news, she also co-hosted many shows with Ryan and Vanessa.  In 2006, Sophia left the show to focus on her filmmaking career, but she continues to contribute when she can, and also freelances for CBC radio.
